WHO WE ARE

Our mission: to increase public awareness of the environmental issues affecting our fisheries and waterways, especially the effects of pollution and carelessly unsustainable marine use - for the betterment of communities big and small.

Through education, community participation, and direct action, the Reel Clean Charity Group (RCCG) is dedicated to supporting the conservation of marine habitats and the sustainable use of those environments.

We believe that healthy waterways and happy communities are vital to a healthy planet, and we're committed to making a tangible difference through our three core pillars of activism: education, collaboration, and remediation. From educating future generations about the importance of marine conservation, connecting with recreational fishing enthusiasts to redefine their practices, to empowering local communities to take ownership of their marine ecosystems, organizing impactful clean-up initiatives, and connecting meaningful resources with volunteers and families, we strive to foster a deep appreciation for the sea, the river, the lake, and the stream to inspire responsible stewardship. Join us in our mission to create a cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant future for our marine world.

WE BELIEVE IN SUSTAINABLE USE & RELIANCE

Reel Clean Charity Group was born from a shared passion: a love for the natural world, especially our marine environments, and the thrill of responsible fishing. Founded by a group of dedicated nature enthusiasts and avid fishermen, we are driven by a deep commitment to the conservation and sustainable use of our lakes, rivers, and coastlines.

We recognize the importance of fishing and marine use from a cultural, economic, and social perspective - and it is our goal to marry the traditions of waterway usage with the sustainable practices that are vital to these fragile ecosystems' survival. We believe in the power of conservation not only to protect these precious resources, but also to uplift the communities whose livelihoods, identities, and pastimes are inextricably linked to the waterways they call home.
